RIGHT NOW.\n\nDue to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Pozna\u0144 we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:\u200b\n\nSenior GL Accountant\n\nsubstitution contract\n\nPoznan, Poland\n\nYour responsibilities:\u200b\n\n * Main accounting contact for Work packages Cash / Warranty / Reporting, ensuring accurate and timely monthly financial results. \n * Prepare and review monthly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. \n * Perform and review cash\u2011related accounting activities, including posting and reconciliation of bank statements for multiple legal entities.\n * Prepare, review and approve recurring and non\u2011recurring journal entries. \n * Identify and resolve accounting issues promptly to meet closing deadlines. \n * Cooperate with internal stakeholders as well as internal and external auditors. \n * Lead and coordinate the work of accountants during month\u2011end close, ensuring timely execution based on the closing schedule. \n * Act as an expert for Cash / Warranty / Reporting processes, providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.\n * Drive standardization, process improvements and transition initiatives within accounting. \n * Support the manager and team in day\u2011to\u2011day operations and current priorities.\n\n\n\n\u200b\n\nOur requirements:\n\n * Minimum 2 years of experience in General Ledger or management/statutory accounting in a multinational environment. \n * Strong knowledge of US GAAP. \n * Very good command of English (written and spoken). \n * Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (e.g. pivot tables, lookups). \n * University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. \n * Ability to work independently and coordinate tasks across teams. \n * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and solution\u2011oriented mindset. \n * Well\u2011organized, proactive and flexible, with strong communication and stakeholder focus.\n\n\n\nWhat we offer:\u200b\n\n * Substitution contract. \n * Strong support for work-life balance, including flexible working hours (start time between 7:00 and 10:00 AM) and a hybrid work model at Business Garden in Poznan.\n * Opportunities for professional development within the company, with strong support for internal career growth.\n * Employee referral program.\n * Additional vacation days based on length of employment.\n * Holiday allowance when taking at least 2 weeks off.\n * Daily use of a foreign language in a friendly international working environment.\n * Private medical care, life insurance, a sports card, meal allowance, language courses, a social fund budget, and various additional fun events in our office.\n * Free access to our e-learning platform, featuring over 1,000 courses.\n\n\n\nPlease send an English version of your CV.\n\nJohn Deere is an equal opportunity employer.
