Senior Java ETL Consultant

Type of contract: B2B contract 

Salary range: 125 - 160 PLN/H

What will you do?

As a Senior Java ETL Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle. You will work with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, improve engineering standards, support digital transformation initiatives, and ensure stable production services.

Your tasks

• Design and develop enterprise applications throughout the full software lifecycle

  Develop and maintain ETL solutions for data integration and migration initiatives
  
  


• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions


• Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders


• Support Agile and Waterfall project delivery


• Improve code quality, performance, resilience, and maintainability


• Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and release processes


• Support system integrations and migration initiatives


• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes


• Conduct code reviews and mentor less experienced engineers

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience


• Strong Java, Spring Framework, and REST API and ETL development skills


• Experience with system integration, data migration and data transformation projects


• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments


• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and development automation


• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)


• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and SonarQube


• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit


• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills


• Ability to mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices


• Openness to work hybrid from our client's office (Kraków) 8 days a month

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Cloud, MuleSoft, Seeburger BIS, or EDI solutions


• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Docker


• Experience with production support and service reliability improvements
