Senior Lead Buyer - Logistics

Role and impact:
As Senior Lead Buyer for Indirect Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing sourcing strategies across our Freight, Energy and Warehouse categories.

Based in our brand new Krakow office, you will lead complex and high-value procurement projects, ensuring alignment with Topsoe’s global procurement policies and category strategies. Your responsibilities will include driving sourcing initiatives, negotiating with suppliers, securing contract coverage, and ensuring competitive tendering.

You will collaborate closely with the Category Manager within the logistics area in our Freight, Energy and Warehouse categories and cross-functional stakeholders, leveraging global procurement tools like SAP, TopBuy, and GEP Source-to-Contract to deliver measurable business results. Your impact will be seen in cost optimization, supplier performance, and the achievement of sustainability and quality targets, all while fostering strong stakeholder relationships and supporting Topsoe’s mission-critical behaviors.

What you will bring:
You bring a strong background in procurement, including proven experience in global sourcing and logistics purchasing. You have solid expertise in freight procurement across sea, road, air, courier and rail.

You combine a strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and contract management skills, supported by a solid understanding of supplier agreements, Incoterms, and tender processes. You are experienced in using procurement systems such as SAP and apply a data-driven, analytical approach to supplier evaluation, with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery performance.

As a clear communicator and effective cross-functional collaborator, you build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field and are fluent in English.
