Job Description - Senior Manager, Merchant Success

Job Description

Senior Manager, Merchant Success will play a pivotal role in building, unifying, and managing our promo activity across countries. This manager will be responsible for developing and executing impactful promotional campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role requires a data-driven and creative individual with a strong understanding of online retail marketing strategies and tactics.

Your main responsibilities will include the following areas:

Campaign Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive promotional campaigns aligned with overall business objectives and marketing goals, incl. Standard Allegro trade plan and Mall dedicated initiatives
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify promo opportunities   
  • Define campaign objectives, assortment, key performance indicators (KPIs), and budgets.

Campaign Execution & Management:

  • Promo execution, incl. creative co-development, assortment selection, and  timeline management.   
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign delivery
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize effectiveness.   

Team and business setup:

  • Design and implement standardized and unified business processes across countries, incl. ways we works, RACI, co-design tech solutions for processes
  • Merge and manage local campaigning efforts and individuals in one high-performing team with clear set of objectives, processes, and KPIs

Promotion Development & Optimization:

  • Design and implement a variety of promotional offers and incentives (e.g., discounts, coupons, free shipping; depending on campaign format) to drive customer engagement and sales.   
  • Conduct A/B testing and price elasticity analysis to determine optimal promotional strategies and assortment selection to maximize promo ROI   

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Track and analyze key campaign metrics (e.g., website traffic, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, ROI) to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.   
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate campaign performance and insights to stakeholders.
