Job Description - Senior People Operations Specialist

Senior People Operations Specialist


Location: Warsaw (hybrid; 1-2 days/week onsite)
Reports to: VP of HR (occasional trips to Zurich, Switzerland)



About the role


As our Senior People Operations Specialist, you’ll build, lead, and drive the engine of our People Operations across Switzerland, the UK, and Poland. You’ll design and scale a modern HR operating model, leveraging technology, automation, and integration to ensure efficiency and scalability. You’ll also lead and support the People Ops Associate, while working closely with our distributed People team to deliver a seamless, end-to-end employee experience.



Key responsibilities



  • HR Tech, Automation: Design, implement, and optimise HRIS (e.g. BambooHR, Go1); integrate tools across regions; automate workflows, reporting, and dashboards; ensure audit-ready data

  • Process Excellence: Build and standardise HR processes across CH, UK, and PL and lead cross-region alignment

  • Employee Lifecycle & Compliance: Own end-to-end lifecycle processes (contracts, onboarding/offboarding, changes, benefits, policies); ensure compliance with country-specific labour laws in collaboration with our local teams

  • Payroll & Analytics: Oversee preparation and coordination of payroll for all locations in collaboration with our local internal payroll teams; partner with Finance and external providers; deliver HR metrics and insights.

  • Employee Support: Act as first contact for HR queries; maintain self-service resources; implement AI/chatbots to streamline requests.

  • Leadership & Projects: Lead and mentor the People Ops Associate; collaborate with HR colleagues on projects; take ownership of HR Ops initiatives that enable growth and scale



Requirements



  • 5+ years’ experience in HR Ops/HRIS with proven ability to design and scale processes independently

  • Multi-country HR Ops exposure; experience with UK and ideally Swiss markets

  • Fluent in English, German, and Polish

  • Expert in HR tech, automation, and process optimisation, with solid multi-country payroll knowledge and strong stakeholder management in international environments.



Salary & benefits 



  • Base: PLN 135,000 – 175,000 + 10% target bonus; ESOP eligibility

  • Hybrid model

  • 26 days’ annual leave
