Senior QA Backend Engineer

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience as software tester
  


• Highly motivated team player with strong communication skills
  


• Working experience in planning, analysis, execution and evaluation of tests
  


• Working experience and knowledge of common test design techniques
  


• Strong test analytics skills
  


• Understanding of mobile and web-based applications
  


• Strong backend-focused testing experience
  


• Experience testing microservice-based architectures across multiple services
  


• Understanding of asynchronous and event-driven systems
  


• Experience with AWS SNS/SQS based integrations and messaging flows
  


• Understanding of software development lifecycle
  


• Knowledge of defect management tools like: Jira, YouTrack etc.
  


• Knowledge of test management tools like: TestRail, Xray etc.
  


• Experience of API testing tools: Postman, Swagger etc.
  


• Experience with SQL databases
  


• Ability to analyze logs, trace requests and validate data flow across services
  


• Experience in Agile
  


• Testing in projects
  


• Strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills while working with multiple development teams
  

• Experience with test automation for web and mobile applications.
  


• Knowledge of REST API standards, HTTP protocols, and API contract validation.
  


• Experience in payment cards, card management, or payment processing domains.
  


• ISTQB Foundation Level and/or ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification.
