Your Role:

As a Shipping Specialist at LEO Pharma, you will ensure the smooth and timely flow of products from our production sites, third-party manufacturers, and distribution centres to destinations worldwide. You will help ensure supply for our global markets, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellence in every shipment. 

Key tasks:

• Coordinate product supply like finished goods, API, or other components and its transport to or from distributors, 3PLs, production sites, laboratories etc.


• Plan and execute cost-effective, GDP-compliant transports aligned with procedures (packaging, routing, etc.).


• Focus on delivery performance, distribution quality, and flexibility for internal and external customers including timely and reliable delivery information sharing.


• Liaise with internal teams and logistics partners to resolve challenges quickly.


• Actively optimize routines/methods with team colleagues to improve efficiency continuously.


• Maintain up-to-date SOPs, guidelines, and procedures; serve as Super User and go-to person for stakeholders.

Your Qualifications 

• Bachelor or master’s degree in supply chain, or other relevant education


• 3 years of experience in shipping or 5 years in logistics area


• Solid understanding of SAP


• SQL experience is an advantage


• Fluency in English; French or German language is a plus


• Ability to work in dynamic environment 


• Interest in continuous improvement and proces optimisation
