About the Role: Kaseya is looking for Software Engineer with Golang to build the new Backup product.
This is a role for engineers who thrive in fast-moving agile environments, embrace accountability, and are eager to work on systems that require performance, reliability, and scale.
We're Looking for Someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Expertise in Go language or willingness to learn and become a geek in Golang
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with one or more of the following: Golang / Java / C# / Ruby / Python / Scala / PHP
- Proven proficiency in API design and development (RESTful services, Swagger/OpenAPI, microservices architecture)
- Ability to write modular, reusable unit and integration tests, maintaining high code coverage
- Strong understanding of SQL databases PostgreSQL or similar
- Hands-on experience with Docker, GIT/GitHub
- Design patterns, data structures, and algorithms in real-world use
- English at B2 - You should feel comfortable using English daily in daily meetings, documentation, and written communication.
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or similar)
- Familiarity with Apache Cassandra
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
- Experience using Kubernetes

What You’ll Do:
- Take full ownership of backend feature development using Golang, from design through deployment and support
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodology
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and performant microservices and APIs
- Resolve reported defects efficiently while delivering features that delight users
- Drive and uphold best practices in code quality, security, performance, and maintainability
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and mentoring within the engineering team
