Software Engineer III, Metadata Extract

We develop proprietary systems leveraging OCR and LLMs to deeply understand documents and extract key information at scale - enhancing productivity and automating workflows. In this role, you'll work alongside a passionate and experienced team of Machine Learning Engineers to design and deliver intelligent systems that meet the highest standards of availability, scalability, security, and compliance. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field 3+ years of professional software development experience Strong understanding of common algorithms, data structures and code design principles Strong grasp of high-scale distributed systems Familiarity with Java, Python, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, API Passionate about AI technologies, basic knowledge in AI/ML is a nice-to-have Strong sense of ownership, persistence and drive, strong communication skills Play a key role in designing and developing services for intelligent content processing and metadata extraction Implement new services and use cases while phasing out the old ones Implement inter-service communication using APIs and Pub/Sub messaging systems. Maintain system health through monitoring, observability, logging, and metrics collection Scale services to meet enterprise-grade quality standards for performance, reliability, and availability Work closely with Machine Learning Engineers Participate in production on-call rotation with your team members
