Specialist AML/KYC with German

The opportunity

We are currently looking for a AML/KYC Specialist with German with to join our team in a newly created position that will provide dedicated support to our Payone business line. This role is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in ensuring compliance with KYC and AML regulations while working in a dynamic, international payments environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Ensuring ongoing (customer) due diligence in accordance with the regulatory requirements


• Customer Risk Rating. Evaluate the risk level of customers based on factors such as their business type, legal form, and geographic location.


• Scheme compliance: Lookups in sanction list and Card Scheme databases.


• Innovation: Contributing to both the teams and personal development with ideas for improvement.


• Documentation: Verify and request accurate records of KYC activities, customer interactions, and compliance-related documentation.


• Training and Awareness: Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry best practices related to KYC and anti-money laundering (AML) to ensure compliance awareness among team members.

• You have understanding of KYC, AML, and other regulatory requirements.


• You've got substantial knowledge in finance, business administration, or a related field.


• You have previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, preferably in a payments company or a bank.


• You have an excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.


• You have excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.


• You have full working proficiency in German and English both written and verbal.
