Responsibilities / Tasks
Develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned material and service categories.
Optimize procurement costs through TCO analyses, Value Engineering initiatives, and cost-reduction projects.
Analyze supplier markets and industry trends, identifying risks and opportunities within the supply chain.
Manage the supplier base, including selection, qualification, evaluation, and development based on quality, cost, and logistics KPIs.
Lead commercial negotiations and conclude framework agreements and long-term contracts.
Cooperate with global and European procurement teams and participate in consolidation initiatives.
Work closely with Production, Logistics, R&D, Quality, and Planning departments, including procurement support for NPI/NPD projects.
Ensure continuity of supply and component availability while optimizing inventory levels.
Manage sourcing processes including RFI, RFQ, and RFP, as well as price benchmarking and scenario
Your Profile / Qualifications
University degree (Logistics, Economics, Management, Engineering, or similar).
3–5 years of experience in strategic procurement (Strategic / Technical Buyer) within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, category management, and cost analysis (TCO, benchmarking).
Proven negotiation skills and ability to build long-term supplier relationships.
Good command of English (min. B2) and experience working in an international environment.
Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
Strategic, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with global suppliers, sustainability in procurement, or professional certifications (e.g. CIPS) will be an advantage.
