Inviting applications for the role of Supply Planning Manager –Assistant Manager – English – Hybrid Katowice

Purpose of the role:

Coordinate the activity of the Supply Planning department and ensure availability of Danone products in warehouses in due time, thus contributing to ensuring freshness, customer service level, waste level and cost parameters.

Responsibilities

· Define and maintain stock policy and planning corridors

· Ensure the daily monitoring of product stocks and also the analysis and completion of needs, by placing orders to factories.

· Is responsible for managing the production capacity of the assigned factories, on a short time horizon

· Monitor and manage the level of loss of finished products (food waste), inform in due time the relevant departments and propose / request actions to reduce / eliminate waste.

· Analyze the causes of impact in CSL (Customer Service Level) and identifiyand propose improvement actions

· Prioritize SKUs, markets, production, if there is risk of OOS (out of stock)

· Collaborate with the MT/LT Supply Planning department to identify and establish actions for possible unforeseen situations

· Coordinate all stakeholders during a crisis and be responsible for enforcing allocation rules established at local/European level for emergencies

· Be the main point of contact in relation to assigned factories, for supply planning for short time horizons.

· Work with a continuous improvement mindset, improving ways of working and optimizing work and communication flows

· Leading/Supporting projects of new tools or process implementations

· Propose and pursue the achievement of team and individual objectives

· Waste (Finished gods and pack)

· Logistic costs

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree
• Strong understand of at least advanced planning systems and its functionality, e.g. Kinaxis, o9 Solutions
• Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in supply planning (MRP, Inventory & Business waste management)

• Strong analytical skills
• Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a collaborative team environment
