Our client is recruiting a Systems Specialist to join their infrastructure team in Warsaw. If you have deep experience managing RedHat Linux environments, Veritas Infoscale cluster software and SAN/NAS infrastructure, this contract role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a stable, technically demanding environment supporting the financial services sector.

Position Overview

As a Systems Specialist, you will take ownership of enterprise infrastructure management, ensuring the stability and performance of critical systems. You will manage complex RedHat Linux environments, administer Veritas Infoscale clustering solutions and troubleshoot storage infrastructure issues. Your work directly impacts the reliability of systems serving financial services clients, making your technical expertise essential to the organisation's success.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain RedHat Linux systems (version 7 and higher) across multiple environments


• Manage Veritas Infoscale cluster software, ensuring optimal performance and availability


• Diagnose and resolve issues within SAN and NAS storage environments


• Support virtualisation platforms and associated technologies


• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues


• Document systems, processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing


• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain system security and compliance standards

Requirements

• Fluent German language skills (mandatory)


• Proven expertise in Veritas Infoscale cluster software administration


• 6-8 years of hands-on RedHat Linux system administration experience


• Demonstrated experience managing virtualisation platforms and technologies


• Strong technical knowledge of SAN and NAS storage environments


• Proficiency in Veritas Backup solutions


• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues independently
