For one of our brands - Dematic - we're currently looking for a Tactical Buyer to join our team in Cracow. This role is accountable to collaborate with Procurement Category Leads, Procurement Project Leads, Project Managers, Engineering, Solutions Development, Finance, A/P, Quality and others to ensure the efficient processing of purchase requirements within our growing organization.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your Responsibility:  ​

• Purchase Order processing and placement.

• Confirm supplier receipt of purchase orders and ability of a supplier to meet delivery dates.

• Conduct expedites of materials when required.

• Input and manage SAP Procurement items in accordance with corporate policies.

• Ensure supplier delivery and invoicing to accomplish the Resale sales forecast.

• Identify and lead continuous improvement projects within the Tactical team utilizing LEAN concepts, tools, and methodologies to eliminate waste and inefficiencies.

• Generate reports and analyze information to identify trends and opportunities to improve efficiencies.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related discipline

• Previous procurement experience and knowledge of SAP MM is a plus

• English (spoken and written) fluent

• Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Strong social competence and intercultural sensitivity

• Continuous improvement mindset with proactive approach

• Curiosity with openness to new technologies

• Collaborative team player able to work cross-culturally

• Travel is less than 10% and not typically required for this role
