Join our team as a passionate Technical Artist to lead and innovate within our Games Portfolio!

Technical Artist at Yggdrasil is primarily a bridge between two worlds - artists and developers. Therefore, he must have knowledge of these two aspects of game production. Should have concepts such as: pixel perfect, optimization, localization and directory structure. The best candidate will be a communicative individual, not afraid of challenges and technical innovations, looking for new solutions that can facilitate the work of people in the team. 

What You'll Do:

• Collaborating with artists and programmers to ensure efficient asset integration in Unity

• Preparing assets for games and other Yggdrasil Gaming’s products (eg. Marketing): Game layout preparation and updates during production, working with source files received from other artists and designers, internal and external,  optimizing the images and animations, exporting final graphics and animations. 

• Reexporting (or recreating when needed) graphics for the Porting Project. 

• Cooperating with the Dev Team to keep the asset flow at peak performance.

• Cooperation with external art studios - guiding them and technical verification of their work.  

• Looking after the project folder structure. 

• Contributing to the company knowledge and good practices database. 

• Historical game assets custody. 

Who You Are:

• Experience in working with Unity  
• Familiarity with Git or SVN
• Strong technical 2D art skills
• Independently replacing assets using solutions similar to Git and SVN 
• Perfect knowledge of Adobe Photoshop 
• Experience in working with Spine (Esoteric Software)  
• Experience in working with Animators 
• Experience in cooperation with external art studios 
• 2+ years experience in art production 
• Superior communication and teamwork skills 
• Fluency in English  
• Passion for games! 

Extra Points For:

• Experience in game design, art, or development.
• Previous iGaming experience
