Job Description - Test Lead

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to join a large-scale transformation programme in the banking sector. The role focuses on defining and coordinating testing activities for a new corporate credit platform, leading a team of testers, and ensuring quality across all delivery stages through strong planning, API validation, and collaboration with development and business teams.

Responsibilities:

â¢ Define, plan, and coordinate functional, integration, and regression testing activities

â¢ Supervise a team of manual and automation testers, providing guidance and structure

â¢ Manage defect lifecycle and test reporting across multiple development streams

â¢ Drive implementation of API testing and SQL validation practices

â¢ Collaborate closely with project management, development, and business analysis teams

â¢ Support the setup of automated test frameworks and CI/CD integrations

â¢ Maintain alignment with enterprise QA standards and release governance

Requirements

â¢ 6+ yearsâ total QA experience, including 2+ years in a lead or test manager position

â¢ Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC processes

â¢ Hands-on experience with Postman, SoapUI, and SQL-based testing

â¢ Proven ability to coordinate multi-stream testing in enterprise environments

â¢ Excellent communication and leadership skills

â¢ English and Polish â full working proficiency

â¢ Background in financial or banking projects

Nice to have

â¢ Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or Appium

â¢ ISTQB certification (Advanced or Test Manager level)
