They are currently seeking an experienced Test Lead to join their agile delivery teams in Krakow. This contract role offers the opportunity to shape testing strategy and drive quality across mission-critical STP applications within a structured yet collaborative environment.

Position Overview

As Test Lead, you will own the testing strategy and execution for STP applications, working closely with agile squads to ensure quality delivery. You'll define test plans, implement automation frameworks, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. This role requires both technical depth and collaborative skills as you work alongside developers, business analysts and solution architects to maintain high standards across production systems handling financial transactions and SWIFT messaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing strategy and execution for STP applications within agile squads


• Define and maintain test plans, test cases and test data aligned with business requirements


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and solution architects to ensure quality delivery


• Implement automated testing frameworks and integrate with CI/CD pipelines


• Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and maintain comprehensive test documentation


• Monitor test execution, report defects and drive resolution through to closure


• Contribute to agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives


• Support production validation and post-deployment testing activities


• Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and agile KPIs


• Ensure compliance with quality and security standards including GDPR, CSDR and ISO requirements

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in software testing within agile environments


• Strong expertise in agile testing methodologies including Scrum, Kanban and SAFe


• Proven experience with test management including test planning, execution and defect management


• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, JUnit and TestNG


• Solid understanding of CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps, Jenkins and Git


• Domain expertise in financial services, STP and SWIFT messaging systems


• Proficiency with tools including JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Zephyr and SQL for data validation


• Strong knowledge of documentation standards including test plans, test cases and requirements traceability matrices


• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner


• Understanding of compliance frameworks including GDPR, CSDR and ISO standards


• Basic programming knowledge in .NET or Java


• Experience with middleware testing including Kafka and IBM MQ


• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace or ServiceNow


• Awareness of security testing principles including OWASP and vulnerability scanning


• Experience in knowledge transfer and documentation handover


• Fluent English communication skills (French or Dutch is an asset)
