The main objectives/KPIs for the Head of Brokerage role are continuity of the brokerage services supply chain, profitability of all brokerage products, 24/7 desk high-touch coverage, and portfolio optimization.
Reporting line: Chief Operations Officer
Location: Poland
Worksite: hybrid/remote
Responsibilities
Operational management of the trading team.
Work closely with Back Office, Front Office, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Sales teams.
Oversee trade recording and settlement processes, identifying issues, and recommending updates to user guides.
Set up the regular processes of the trading team, manage the ticket flow.
Understand and manage the incident reporting and the team's development, including the testing plan.
Create a testing plan and ticketing flow management.
Collaborate closely with the product/engineering team to improve our platform services and procedures.
Oversee reception, transmission, and execution of clients’ orders following requirements of international and local laws, as well as with internal manuals and policies.
Daily monitoring and error management.
Proactively stay up to date about market trends, opportunities, risks, and new projects, with a passion for the cryptocurrency and digital asset industry.
Build high-performance teams and oversee succession planning
Manage shareholders and business stakeholder expectations.
Budgeting, forecasting, and developing automated reporting/dashboards.
Ensure compliance of all activities and transactions.
Requirements
Fluent English
Degree in Math/Physics, Computer Science or similar
Good Knowledge of Quantitative Trading
7+ years of experience working in senior roles in the investment bank and/ or brokerage business
Excellent knowledge and experience in process analysis and improvement of trading activities
Strong analytical skills and passion for analyzing sales dynamics/trends
Can quickly synthesize complex data into a ‘position’ and develop action plans
Experience in team management: hiring, developing, and maintaining talents
Proven track record of clear communications & collaborations across cross-functional teams
