Team/Role Overview

The Transaction Capture Analyst is an mid-entry level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to traders, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this role is to maintain position records and provide support with processes surrounding securities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Middle Office processes supporting investment funds' activity in the capital markets. Team's service includes settlement of institutional clients' instructions, investigation and resolution of any inconsistencies across multiple platforms;
• Supporting clients' inquiries and providing transaction reporting and auxiliary activities;
• Foster strong working relationships with internal/external stakeholders, including Oversight teams, by demonstrating committed inclusion in relevant forums, projects, business developments;
• Matching client trade instructions with the confirmations from brokers
• Sending and monitoring the settlement/payment instructions to custodian banks.
• Active and independent searching for and implementation of new, better solutions among the given processes
• Providing training and introducing new employees to the process;
• Participation in business initiatives, client on-boarding and documenting new processes;
• Ensure all issues / potential issues that could have negative impact on the performance and image of the department are escalated appropriately and in a timely manner;
• Proactive controls and actions targeting at minimizing processing risk; 
• Take ownership over resolution of the unusual queries and issues reported by the client;
• Additional business oriented tasks requested by manager

Qualifications:

• Fluent English
• Minimum 1 year of experience on relevant position
• Experience in institutions linked to capital markets preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting and SWIFT would be a great asset
• Efficient and effective with numerical tasks and transactions
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
