UX Designer

Faria is seeking a talented UX Designer who'll join our team to design intuitive user experiences for educational analytics dashboards, ensuring complex data insights are accessible to educators and administrators. Create user-centered design solutions that improve decision-making workflows in K-12 educational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces for attendance, activities, admissions, and academic performance dashboards
• Conduct user research with early adopter schools to understand educator workflows and pain points
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications for development teams
• Establish design systems and component libraries for consistent user experience
• Collaborate with Product Manager on feature prioritization based on user needs analysis
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG standards) for educational technology users
• Design data visualization approaches that make complex analytics actionable for non-technical users

Technical Skills

• 3-5 years of UX design experience with:
• Design Tools: Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Prototyping: Interactive prototype development for user testing
• User Research: Interview facilitation, usability testing, survey design
• Data Visualization: Understanding of chart types, dashboard layout, and information hierarchy
• Experience designing for complex data-driven applications or analytics platforms
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first approaches
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices

Required Experience

• B2B SaaS application design experience, preferably in EdTech or analytics platforms
• Experience designing for educators, administrators, or other professional user groups
• Portfolio demonstrating dashboard and data visualization design capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational technology or student information system design experience
• Understanding of K-12 educational workflows and decision-making processes
• Experience with design systems and component library development
• Knowledge of educational compliance requirements affecting user interface design
