Act as a third level expert technical operations team, to support our point of arrival products ensuring long term stability for our customers. Also supports the organization with technical expertise in prioritized projects and collaborates across the organisation with second-line support, development, infrastructure, cloud, network teams and the incident managers.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain Windows-based infrastructure solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Automation: Develop and manage automation scripts using Ansible and Terraform to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
- Version Control: Utilize GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code review processes.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- On-Call Support: Provide on-call support for critical infrastructure issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align infrastructure solutions with business requirements and best practices.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Windows infrastructure engineering, with a focus on automation and cloud technologies.
- Technical education – University or related
- Proficiency in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Strong knowledge of GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Experience with monitoring tools and techniques.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, similar are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
