Application operation Intern - Customer Data Management- TalentBank 2025

TalentBank is an original internship program of the Digital Technology Centre in Poland, which aim is to enable students and graduates to gain professional experience in IT / banking industry. The project can be attended by people who are students or graduates (up to 12 months after graduation). We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.

📢 Join our team as Application operation engineer Intern! 📢

In your role as Application operation enginer you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, production environments.

Your main task is to ensure high stability of application on test and production environments as well as necessary configuration for upcoming releases. Close collaboration with developers to enable them environments usage.


Provide neceserry preventive actions needed to have stable production without incidents. We value your personal skills but prefer to use them to automate processes (where possible) rather than manual work (still sometimes needed).

What you will be doing? 👇

• Assuring stable production operations of the relevant applications (Azure stack)
• Solve consumer problems – on Camunda platform
• Contact for technical aspects of these applications in the relevant stages
• Incident and problem management (monitoring analyzing and fixing incidents to guarantee the availability of the relevant applications and environments)
• Coordination of the deployment of new versions or patches and implementation for the relevant applications
• Running and testing various scripts (SQL) to enable data analytics
  for the teams
• Proactive interaction with all members of the cell to achieve the team goals
• Providing workarounds and final resolutions for problems to assure expected support level

Alternative tasks:

• Capacity management for the relevant applications,
• Automate process that fit for automation (We do not like to much of manual stuff)
• Maintenance of rollback procedures
• Logfile analysis for solution of incidents.
• Data flow maintenance (i.e., making sure that daily file transfers are processed in automated way)

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👇

• Good knowledge of Unix / Linux, Openshift
• Basic knowledge of Oracle, SQL

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Postman
• Basic knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Bitbucket, Teamcity
• Basic knowledge of HPESM, Dynatrace, Kibana

The importance of person, ogranisation and group view has grown significantly in the last years because of regulatory requirements and from the sales point of view. It is therefore an integral part of our business model.

Because of new and existing regulatory requirements (i.e. tax requirements, granting of exemption applications, transfer of church tax, FATCA, Basel II and III, etc) it has been decided to incrementally rebuild the person, organisation and group views within CORE.

The CORE applications are running by the cluster “Customer Data Management”. The cluster “Customer Data Management” maintain mainly applications about static/master data and MIFID II for Commerzbank AG.
