Business Analyst Intern - Securities Processes - TalentBank 2025

TalentBank is an original internship program of the Digital Technology Centre in Poland, which aim is to enable students and graduates to gain professional experience in IT / banking industry. The project can be attended by people who are students or graduates (up to 12 months after graduation). We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.

As a Intern (Business Analyst) you will be a part of an international Agile team of approx. 15 IT specialists (Dev, Test, Operations, POs, Scrum).

In your role you will be involved in: design, development and implementation of new functionalities or updates of our bank products. Your main duties will include gathering, structuring and documenting business requirements as well as tests coordination. Based on this, you write epics, features, user stories for the IT solutions, that the team will implement in an agile delivery model. In addition, you are proactively responsible for the permanent exchange of information between the cells and chapters, ensure smooth cooperation at the interfaces.

You will work independently on assigned tasks and are characterized by a structured, solution-oriented approach.

At the same time when working together as a team, you will have to actively participate at any time to advance the common topics

What you will be doing? 👇

• Performing analysis to support the design of technical and functional solutions of developed applications.
• This role requires a combination of process skills and a good understanding of technology.
• Defining functional test scenarios as well as quality assurance measures. In that context you will be also supporting and coordinating test activities.
• Support of Product Owner by creation and sign-off of relevant documentation as well as work organization by creation of user stories, epics and tasks in Agile manner
• In case of incidents or issues, you will perform analysis of the problems in close collaboration witth other teams involved.
  
  Consulting the Business- and IT- experts on functional concepts of the applications and on optimization of the processes
• Work in an Agile environment, participate in scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retro).

Alternative tasks:

• Conceptional tasks around functional solutions, data- and interface architecture
• Independent recording, analysis and evaluation of requirements
• Independent creation of user stories for the developers
• Get involved in driving the used technology forward (e.g. implementation of test automatization for business rules or new automated test scenarios)
• Communication within the English team (however knowledge of German will be an additional asset for this position)

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👇

• Understanding and analyzing business requirements (actual/target). Gathering and documentation of business requirements from external clients and design / devolpment of functional solution / function IT concept.
• Basic knowledge of GUI Design (FIGMA)
• Basic knowledge of Test Methododlogy
• Basic knowledge of API (SOAP, REST, SWAGGER)

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of ITIL methodology
• Basic knowledge of Agile Software Development / Scrum
