Position Title: Clinical Data Analyst Intern

Department: Clinical Data Management (Global Data Operations)

Location: Hybrid, Warsaw

Duration: 6 months

Position overview:

Are you a skilled data analyst fluent in multiple data sources? Do you have a passion for statistics, predictions, and data visualization? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Global Data Operations team as a Clinical Data Analyst Intern.

About Us:

We are a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, and our Global Data Operations team is responsible for preparing, cleaning, and analyzing data related to metrics and key performance indicators. As an intern, you will work under the direction of a

Manager to support the delivery of new solutions and contribute to the team's vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data analysis, including statistics and predictions, to generate insights and support decision-making process.

  • Participate in architecting our data pipeline to handle increasing data volume and make it consumable for other teams, utilizing data visualization techniques.

  • Develop tools to automate processes and replace manual work, enhancing efficiency and productivity.

  • Create tools for data analysis and visualization, enabling the effective communication of complex analyses.

  • Collaborate closely with the Management Team and various Global Teams to understand business needs and propose solutions.

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Data Science or a related field.

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in IT, including SQL, Python, VBA for Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and Git and Advanced MS Office Knowledge

  • Understanding of data visualization frameworks and best practices.

  • Strong analytical abilities, quantitative skills, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with multiple data sources and perform data cleaning and wrangling.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal in English.

  • Well-organized, structured, and capable of working independently.

  • Commitment, motivation, creativity, and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse global teams.

  • Familiarity with machine learning and an interest in AI is a plus.
