As a Firmware Validation Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to validate the firmware that powers Solidigm's cutting-edge Solid State Drives (SSDs). You will collaborate with a wide range of professionals to ensure our firmware meets or exceeds product and security requirements.

This internship is part of the Security Validation Team – a friendly, supportive group of engineers who ensure our SSD firmware meets the highest security standards. You’ll work in a collaborative environment with a strong team spirit, where knowledge sharing and mutual support are part of the culture. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with firmware engineers to validate SSD firmware against security requirements
• Develop and maintain Python-based test scripts and frameworks
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of validation processes
• Apply modern validation methodologies and tools
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability

Required:

• Current student in Computer Science or a related field (must maintain student status throughout the internship)
• Good knowledge of Python and coding best practices
• Understanding of Git
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred:

• Familiarity with C programming
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Interest in firmware, embedded systems and cybersecurity

• Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extension
