Intern (Accounts Payable)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Intern (Accounts Payable) to join our finance team on a civil contract for 1 year, 32h weekly. The successful candidate will support daily accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely vendor payments, and compliance with internal accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record vendor invoices accurately and on time
• Match invoices with purchase orders
• Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with payment terms
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and well-organized accounts payable records
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
• Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar junior accounting role
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
