Internship - R&D Test Engineer

This Position reports to:

At Corporate Technology Center in Kraków we create innovative solutions, implemented in ABB products and systems. It is a unique opportunity for you to join interdisciplinary scientific teams and international projects where expertise, curiosity and innovation are valued.

As a R&D Test Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the quality of software products thorough test stand development,  testing solutions, modules, and functions produced by the software development teams.

Tasks:

• Test stands development and maintenance - test setups design, equipment assembly, documentation maintenance
• Planning and development of automated tests in Python (possibility to learn during internship)
• Code maintenance and documentation
• Execution of manual tests

Requirements

• Student of 3rd or 4th year

• General knowledge of robotics, mechanics, theory of mechanisms and machine design

• Good analytical and problem solving skills;

• Knowledge of electrics and electronics

• Knowledge of Python
• Good written and spoken English
• Minimum availability 20h/week

Nice to have:

• SEP certificate up to 1kV
• Knowledge of CAD design tool
• Knowledge of embedded systems
• Knowledge of Linux for embedded systems
• Knowledge of communication protocols like TCP/IP, SNMP, Modbus TCP/RTU
