Lab Systems Intern

support, troubleshoot, document, and improve systems. Install, service, maintain and troubleshoot variety of audio, video and drive-thru technologies (amplification, routing systems, KVM, etc). Fulfill audiovisual technical functions and requirements including but not limited to: Cabling and setup/teardown of systems, documentation upkeep of A/V systems, technical support to lab users and their labs, system troubleshooting and configuration exercises. Align and communicate between support priorities for ticket-based tasks and project-planned work. Assist with systems hardware and material inventory, storage and upkeep Escalate and coordinate technical issues outside of normal functions through the appropriate channels to drive tasks to a resolution Position is primarily in Wroclaw/Nuremberg, but may require occasional support in our Nuremberg/Wroclaw facility (potential business trip possibility as well) Fluency in English is required Familiarity with the idea of the KVM systems Computer skills with understanding of networking and IP addressing Intrest in configuring and troubleshooting media routing systems and control systems Make sound decisions! The objective is to keep the labs functioning and their highest level. Focus on the important information without getting bogged down in unnecessary detail. Build realistic plans! Identify action steps needed to accomplish objectives. Prepare realistic estimates of time and resource requirements needed to accomplish the tasks and delivers. Prioritize appropriately for the most efficient support of the Labs. Convey clear expectations for any changes/updates to labs or supporting systems. Monitor and communicate progress in a timely manner. Provide honest, helpful feedback to others and help identify and prioritize objectives as part of the Lab Management team. z o.o.
