The platform enables the creation of interactive formats such as quizzes, polls, surveys, web stories, and videos to increase audience engagement, collect first-party data, and drive monetization. The engineering team focuses on scalable content delivery, high-performance infrastructure, and data-driven optimization in a collaborative, product-oriented environment.

Our client runs a high-throughput, low-latency interactive-content and ad-serving platform on GCP. As Senior DevOps Engineer you own the reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of our production infrastructure end to end, set technical direction for our platform tooling, and raise the operational bar across R&D.

• 5+ years in production DevOps/SRE, with deep hands-on GCP and Kubernetes at scale
• Strong Terraform and CI/CD automation, including GitOps (ArgoCD)
• Proven CDN configuration and debugging in production (Fastly a strong advantage)
• Deep TLS/SSL certificate management with cert-manager or ACME clients (certbot, lego), with automated renewal across clusters, load balancers, and ideally service meshes (Linkerd)
• Solid cloud networking, IAM, internal/external DNS (Cloudflare, Squarespace), and service-account design
• Production observability and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana
• Strong Bash scripting and gcloud CLI fluency
• Fluent using AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) and LLMs in daily work to accelerate scripting, IaC, debugging, and incident analysis, with good judgment on where they help and solid secrets hygiene
• A track record of owning reliability, cost, and security outcomes, not just executing tickets

• GKE clusters and environments (prod, dev), including canary / progressive rollouts: capacity, upgrades, networking, and workload reliability
• Reliability practice: define and drive SLOs, alerting, on-call, incident response, and postmortems; reduce toil through automation
• CI/CD and GitOps delivery (GitHub Actions, Docker, Helm, ArgoCD) for our multi-language microservices
• Edge and delivery: Fastly CDN (VCL routing, caching, headers, edge logic) and DNS for low-latency global ad serving
• TLS/SSL certificate lifecycle across cloud load balancers, Linkerd, and internal services, fully automated issuance and renewal
• DNS and certificate automation across Cloudflare and Squarespace: take the current semi-automated issuance and renewal flows to fully automated and self-healing
• Terraform: eliminate manual configuration and environment drift
• Observability with Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, and Cloud Logging
• FinOps: continuously optimize GCP spend (right-sizing, idle/legacy cleanup, storage tiers)
• Platform hardening: least-privilege IAM, secrets management (Cloud KMS / Secret Manager), and operational support for our data-protection / GDPR / TCF requirements
• Govern what internally built tools and AI-generated apps can touch in production: enforce least-privilege access (DB, cloud, IAM), review and scope every grant, and keep blast radius contained so self-service tooling can't take down or expose prod
