Digital Designer (9 months fixed-term)

The team

We’re looking for an experienced Digital Designer who excels at understanding business goals, navigating technical constraints, and championing user-centric design solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality User Interfaces aligned with our principles and design system. Join us shaping Hitachi’s digital software portfolio.

The role

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and define project goals.
 Develop high-level designs, user flows, and journey maps.
 Translate project requirements into prototype solutions for web and mobile platforms.
 Apply and extend our design system to ensure consistency across digital products.
 Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
 Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital design.

What you’ll bring

3+ years of experience in digital design. Portfolio is required.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
Advanced skill level using Figma software, familiar with component creation and prototyping techniques.
Experience working with design systems is a plus.
Excellent team player.
