Cloud Security Architect

Our client is a leading group of companies operating in the IT sector for over 20 years. We are currently seeking a Cloud Security Architect to join their team in the Porto area.

• Location : Porto (Portugal)
• Work model: Hybrid - 1 to 2 times per week

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:

As a Cloud Security Architect , you will:

• Design, build, and implement strong security architectures and systems for cloud services.
• Make sure the security standards and frameworks match our business and tech plans.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information.
• Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and suggest how to fix them. Work with IT to make sure our systems are safe from the start.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies in the area.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on information security best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience as a Cloud Security Architect, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices.
• Strong Understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as cloud management platforms.
• Experience with cloud environment security designs (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including (i.e., NIST CSF, NIST SP800-53, QNRCS, Mitre Att&ck, NIS 2.0, OWASP, CIS Controls, and ISO 27000 series.
• Familiarity with various network and host-based security applications and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work within a team.
• Effective communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
