PR Manager

Devexperts has been developing software for the financial industry since 2002, employing over 800 engineers across seven offices worldwide. We work in the B2B field, and our clients are forex and stock brokers, exchanges, and wealth management firms. Over 20 million end-users across the globe use our software daily. As a PR manager, you'll be a part of the Devexperts Marketing team and help build mutually beneficial relationships with news media, influencers, and PR agencies.

Job Description

The ideal candidate is a strong writer with excellent communication, negotiation, and persuading skills and a passion for financial software, trading, investment, and B2B communication. We expect you to be efficient at securing press coverage for multiple products and services Devexperts has to offer and be fearless of complex topics, such as forex trading platforms.

Your responsibilities:

• Search for strategic PR opportunities and conduct PR outreach
• Develop and execute PR plans: messaging and written content published on time, cooperation with event and copywriting teams
• Write newsworthy press releases that provide value to the press
• Develop and maintain existing press lists and relationships, evaluate and respond to direct press requests/PR opportunities for key markets (the EU, the US, Asia)
• Meet the KPIs for public relations, brand awareness, and communications 
• Be aware of all company’s product-related updates
• Actively search for new topics, maintain a keen understanding of industry trends, and read industry magazines for newsjacking
• Stay in touch with senior engineers and executives to receive commentary for press

Qualifications

Required skills:

• 3+ year experience in a PR or communications role, within technology, IT, or finance-related fields
• Fluency in English
• Excellent writing skills that will be tested during the interview process
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines
• BS/BA in Communications (Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing) required
• Ability to work and collaborate remotely with the international team to achieve common goals
• Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO writing, SMM, and email marketing 
• Well-developed soft skills, “can do” attitude, and ability to work in a team
• An ability to quickly learn new products and technologies
