Discovery Land Company is seeking a full-time Director of Marketing to join the Marketing Team. The Director of Marketing works with DLC Corporate Marketing team and our affiliates to develop and execute the property's sales and marketing program. This person will lead day-to-day marketing efforts for two property levels and work closely with the Operations team, Development team, and Sales team to support the sales process from a marketing perspective.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage integrated marketing strategy using quantitative and qualitative data through key stages of project lifecycles
• Build and reconcile budget to align and support initiatives annually
• Provide the direct day-to-day leadership and management of the marketing department supporting cross departmental collaboration
• Work with property and regional leaders to align sales and marketing strategy with club development and operational milestones
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive engagement and strategy implementation in current and new markets
• Provide brand and marketing expertise within DLC and property initiatives to create impactful stories through communications, events, digital initiatives, and collateral development.
• Understand and implement the properties brands, voice and messaging throughout all marketing and communications channels
• Support writing and communication projects
• Develop property marketing KPI’s and employ methods and metrics to monitor, track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and acquisition
• Manage CRM input and reporting dashboards, analyze data and provide reporting to support overall sales direction and new marketing initiatives
• Aggregate market research, insights, and input into strategic planning
• Manage CMS and listing inventory on property website
• Create and implement strategic content plan and calendars for property including social, photography/videography, production to support property KPI’s
• Lead creative direction on photography and videography photoshoots aligning deliverables with brand
• Onsite support and coordination of corporate-led events
• Oversee inventory and assets for digital sales tools and resources
• Oversee new product launch material development and design
• Manage external vendor relationships to drive project initiatives, events, marketing campaigns to drive effective results on deadline
• Project manage print and digital asset creation and management
• Collaborate with on-property teams to create processes and select platform/systems that reflect long term sales and marketing growth
  
   

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a focus on business and marketing preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years in marketing, representing high-end luxury properties, international residential marketing, or relevant industry. Experience partnering and/or working with a Sales teams a plus
• Knowledge of construction, architecture and design a plus
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) as well as Apple products and services
• Track record of producing and presentation of marketing assets in a fast-paced and agile environment
