Analyst/Senior Analyst - Treasury

Your Team

The Treasury group is responsible for collateral management, reconciliation of margin and financing, tracking client’s security lending and borrowing information and in the process gain a comprehensive and holistic understanding of all these functions. The group members collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the margin, collateral and financing data on Arcesium platform are validated to initiate wire movements accordingly. The group also works on optimizing the client’s portfolio margin and reducing the financing charges.

What You'll Do

• Handle margin calls and pulls for the clients. Monitor and manage daily collateral movements across counterparties and prime brokers


• Analyze the reasons for differences in exposure, margin and collateral and work with the counterparties to resolve the breaks


• Ensure timely settlement of margin calls and collateral transfers


• Perform daily margin calculation reviews and reconciliations


• Support month-end and year-end financing reconciliation processes


• Analyze financing arrangements and recommend optimization opportunities


• Ensure accuracy of borrowing and lending information on Arcesium platform


• Client interactions related to collateral, margin and financing queries


• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation


• Liaise with technology team for product enhancement and testing


• Collaborate with various teams across the firm to deliver best quality services to clients


• Collaborating with multi-location teams in NY, India and locally for financial operations processes.

What You'll Need

• An MBA or MSc in Finance, CFA or any another equivalent qualification


• Experience of 1.5 - 6 years in treasury operations, prime brokerage or related financial services.


• Knowledge of various margin and financing methodologies and collateral management practices


• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills and ability to engage in client discussions around business processes.


• Operational rigor, keen process orientation and an eye for detail


• Ability to work with minimal supervision and coordinate with different teams across multiple geographies


• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications and SQL Experience in VBA/python is a big plus
