AWS Database Administrator

We are looking for an AWS Database Administrator to join a project at a company specializing in the management of financial markets. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years supporting mission-critical environments using AWS technologies.

Responsabilities

• Support AWS RDS / Aurora PostgreSQL / Aurora MySQL / Redshift

• Installation & configuration
• Performance & tuning
• Query optimisation
• Workload management
• Support the database layer end-to-end across several services
• Participate in international projects
• Influence current and future technology choices
• Work in shift rotation (team covers 10h shift, 5 days a week) and on-call (~1 week/month)

• 5+ years of experience as Database Administrator (AWS environments)

• Expert in: AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, Aurora MySQL, Redshift
• Confirmed experience: performance tuning, query optimisation, workload management
• Advanced knowledge (nice to have): S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch
• Pragmatic approach
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2+) required
