What you can do

− You are responsible for the management and operation of our storage and backup infrastructure, both on-prem and in the public cloud.
− You will further develop the on-prem infrastructure and improve the cloud backup solutions.
− As an interface to other teams, you ensure that new requirements are implemented technically.
− You support colleagues at Swiss Post in the implementation of storage and backup concepts.
− Working on projects or taking on sub-projects offers you varied tasks.
− You will drive forward automation, ensure day-to-day operations and share the on-call duty with the team.
− You will play an active role in Swiss Post's business continuity management (BCM). What you bring with you
− You have proven experience as an IT generalist.
− You have a sound knowledge of Linux or Windows and are willing to familiarize yourself with lesser-known operating systems to optimally support our team.
− You have already heard of M365, SAP HANA, RDS, K8S, virtualization, LAN, firewalls, MS or MySQL, NAS, ObjectStore, Commvault, etc. and would like to contribute your knowledge in one or more of these topics.
− You work reliably, are flexible and team-oriented and can express yourself clearly and appropriately at different levels.
− Your willingness to work on-call rounds off your profile.

Education
− You have completed a higher degree in computer science or business informatics (university of applied sciences).

Language skills
− English oral and written
− Optional: German/French/Italian oral (and written)− Willingness to travel
