BI Developer Profile

Overview:

We are looking for a Data & BI professional with strong SQL expertise and solid experience in data modeling and data warehouse environments. The role involves working with complex SQL, performance optimization, star schema design, Power BI, DAX and Tabular Models, with Git, SSDT and basic C# knowledge as additional key skills.

What are we looking for?

Strong SQL expertise, including:

• SQL query language


• Understanding of SQL engine behavior and performance optimization


• Ability to discuss and solve complex SQL topics

Data modeling experience:

• Star schema design


• Understanding when more advanced modeling approaches are required


• Experience with data warehouse environments, preferably Dedicated SQL Pools


• Experience with Git

• Power BI


• DAX


• Tabular Models


• SSDT (SQL Server Data Tools)


• Basic knowledge of C#, as some of our business logic is generated in C#
