Business Analyst - Custody/Settlement

Join our dynamic team and support one of the largest financial institutions in Portugal as a Business Analyst, working closely with key financial systems. If you have a background in Custody, Tax, and some SQL know-how, we’d love to hear from you!

Location: Porto                                           

Main Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with global teams (US, India, Portugal) on Custody and Settlement systems.
• Gather and define business requirements for system enhancements.
• Write functional specs and support testing through the full project lifecycle.
• Support change management, ensure quality delivery, and contribute to market and cross-functional projects.
• Provide functional support and collaborate with Service Delivery teams on complex issues.

Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Management, Tax, or Law.
• 4+ years in the financial industry, ideally with Custody experience.
• Strong understanding of Corporate Actions.
• Solid English communication skills (mandatory).
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with IT systems and financial applications is a bonus.
• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
• Ability to simplify complex processes.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

(Hybrid work, with 2/3 days of work in the office in PORTO per week)
