Business Studies Teacher

ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School Cascais, part of the Inspired Education Group, is seeking a passionate and well-qualified Teacher of Business Studies. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum (IGCSE and A-Levels), fostering critical thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, and academic excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learning & Teaching: Plan and deliver high-impact Business Studies lessons according to Cambridge standards.
  


• Academic Excellence: Differentiate teaching to challenge and support learners of all abilities.
  


• Assessment: Monitor, assess, and record student development, providing constructive feedback.
  


• Classroom Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  


• Collaboration: Work closely with the department to develop resources and share best practices.
  


• School Life: Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and business-related clubs.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Education: University degree in Business Management, Economics, or a related field.


• Certification: Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent).


• Experience: Proven experience teaching Business Studies within the Cambridge (IGCSE/A-Level) or IB frameworks.


• Languages: Native or near-native English language proficiency.


• Key Attributes: Excellent communication, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.
