Tasks 

• Design, develop, and implement software for power system management, including Power Flow, Load Allocation, State Estimation, Demand-Side Management, and Fault Location 
• Collaborate with innovation ecosystem partners to build reliable and efficient software for critical energy systems
• Analyze technical requirements, identify gaps, and propose innovative solutions to complex problems
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and continuous maintenance

Requirements 

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Power Systems 
• Solid understanding of power systems: generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems
• Experience with power network modeling and simulation: Power Flow, Load Allocation, State Estimation, Demand-Side Management, Fault Location
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as Matlab, Simscape Electrical, and Simulink
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Experience with version control tools (SVN or Git)
• Basic knowledge of Linux (optional)
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology (optional)
• Strong attention to detail and customer-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of energy markets is a plus
• Availability to work in a hybrid model from Maia, Portugal
