Chemical Engineer Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Engineer Traineeto join our Technology Center team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in developing innovative chemical processes, products, and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in chemical engineering principles and a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

What You'll be doing:

·       Assist in the design, development, and optimization of chemical processes and formulations.

·       Conduct laboratory-scale experiments and pilot-scale trials under supervision.

·       Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare technical reports and presentations.

·       Support the scale-up of new processes.

·       Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Maintenance and Procurement.

·       Stay up-to-date with advancements in chemical engineering and materials science.

·       Maintain accurate and organized records of experimental work in lab notebooks and digital formats.

·       Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

What You’ll Bring:

·       Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

·       Strong understanding of core chemical engineering principles (e.g thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, equipment design, process mass and energy balance).

·       Basic laboratory skills and familiarity with standard chemical engineering equipment.

·       Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·       Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

·       Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic R&D environment.

·       Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.

·       As a plus:

- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ASPEN, OLI, SysCAD).

- Internship or project experience in R&D or process development.

- Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., REACH.
