Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and passionate Clinical or Health Psychologists to join the dynamic and supportive Allied Health Psychology department.  This permanent role provides valued opportunities for developing and enhancing knowledge and insight into specialist rehabilitation psychology, pain management and complex case approaches in a multidisciplinary context.  


 


Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.


 


Services are provided through our six main campuses:


Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.


 


About the Role:


The role will involve:  



  • Working in the community therapy outpatient service 

  • Providing evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment 

  • Multidisciplinary collaboration and consultation 


 


This is a permanent Grade 2 part-time (0.2 EFT, 16 hours per fortnight) position.

To be successful in this role you will have:



  • An enthusiastic, adaptable and collaborative style 

  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia 

  • Experience or a keen interest in providing psychological care within public health and/or rehabilitation settings
