Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Clinical Support Nurse to join the Nursing Midwifery Education team / department. The EFT is 0.4 permanet ongoing.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our six main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role requires bedside support of all level of midwifery and nursing learners including undergraduate,  graduate and postgraduate program staff and learners,  and as required across NH campuses.

This role is responsible for the training, supervision and development of learners / staff at the bedside within  NH working across a 7 day and evening shift roster pattern. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience and good working knowledge of midwfery and acute care


• Proven ability to operate at a advanced level of education supervision support


• Demonstrated commitment to bedside teaching and supervision of all levels of staff


• Well-developed communication skills


• Post graduate certificate level in relevant specialty
