If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact. \n \n\n\nThe Cloud Operations Expert will be part of the Cloud team, responsible for the operations of the Cloud Operations team and the cloud environments used to virtualize network functions in Vodafone\u2019s core network.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Managing and supporting a mixed environment of VMware vSphere, VMware Tanzu, VMware NSX, RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP);\n * Good knowledge of Storage and Network technologies;\n * Managing critical situations by performing troubleshooting, incident management, and error handling for cloud platforms;\n * Implementing security policies and remediating vulnerabilities on platforms following best practices and company procedures;\n * Discussing, evaluating, and organizing change management, fault management, and service request processes with design and delivery teams, ensuring alignment across markets;\n * Evaluating new versions, firmware, and patches; organizing and scheduling major upgrades and security patch implementations with consideration of cross-market impacts;\n * Discussing platform evolution and technology roadmap with vendors and design teams, driving adoption of future-ready solutions;\n * Building strong relationships with stakeholders across markets, design teams, vendors, and internal customers;\n * Organizing and managing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines, while maintaining a strategic, multi-market perspective.\n\n\n\n## Who you are\n\n * Degree in Computer Science or related field;\n * Strong expertise in Cloud technologies: CAAS, PAAS, IAAS in VMware, Red Hat OpenShift (RHOCP);\n * Deep understanding of Storage, SAN, Network architectures;\n * 3+ years of system/cloud administration with VMware or Red Hat Linux;\n * Good team player;\n * Problem Solver;\n * Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and methodologies;\n * Ability to perform in stressing and emergency conditions;\n * Critical thinking;\n * Time management;\n * Fluency in English.\n\n\n\n## Not a perfect fit?\n\nWorried that you don\u2019t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
