Customer Support Representative – Spanish Market

About the Role

Join an international customer support team representing a leading global entertainment streaming platform.

You will assist customers with account-related questions, billing enquiries and technical issues while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Language Requirements

Candidates must have full fluency in Castilian Spanish and at least B1 English proficiency, together with one of the following regional language combinations:

• Castilian Spanish + Basque
• Castilian Spanish + Catalan/Valencian
• Castilian Spanish + Galician

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional and empathetic customer support.
• Handle account management and billing enquiries.
• Assist customers with technical troubleshooting.
• Explain products, services and platform features.
• Identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and quality standards.
• Support customers through different communication channels.

Requirements

• Fluent Castilian Spanish.
• English proficiency of at least B1.
• Knowledge of one of the required regional languages: Basque, Catalan/Valencian or Galician.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented attitude and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with technology and digital platforms.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Working Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• 8 working hours per day plus a one-hour lunch break.
• Rotational shifts covering Monday to Sunday, 24/7.

Salary & Benefits

Option 1 – Without Company Accommodation

• Base salary: €950 gross/month
• Holiday allowance: €79.16/month
• Christmas allowance: €79.16/month
• Meal allowance: €7 per working day (approximately €154 for 22 working days)
• Total monthly gross cash package: €1,262.33

Option 2 – With Company Accommodation

• Base salary: €776 gross/month
• Holiday allowance: €64.67/month
• Christmas allowance: €64.67/month
• Meal allowance: €7 per working day (approximately €154 for 22 working days)
• Apartment benefit-in-kind: €200/month
• Total gross package including accommodation benefit: €1,259.33
• Total monthly gross cash compensation: €1,059.33

Accommodation is a benefit-in-kind, not an additional cash payment. The apartment option is subject to eligibility and availability.

Additional Benefits

• Health insurance from the first day of the employment contract.
• Holiday and Christmas allowances paid in monthly instalments.
• Annual leave: Up to 20 days in the first year, depending on joining date; 22 days in subsequent complete calendar years.
• Portuguese public holidays apply.
• One-month trial period.

Training

• Duration: Approximately 2 weeks.
• 8 hours per day, delivered in English.
• Training allowance: €18.56 gross per day.
• Weekly training allowance: €92.80.
• Training compensation is paid proportionally upon successful completion.

Contract

• Initial uncertain-term employment contract with a foreseeable duration of 12 months.
• Permanent employment relationship after 2 years, as specified in the project information.

Work Model & Accommodation

• 100% remote, but candidates must reside in mainland Portugal.
• Occasional visits to a Lisbon hub may be required for technical setup, training or operational needs.
• Company-rented furnished accommodation may be available for the first 14 months for eligible candidates living more than 100 km from the workplace.
• Accommodation is subject to availability and company conditions.
