- Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and translate data requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement data integration and data transformation solutions to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure and systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Design and implement data models and schemas to support data analytics and reporting needs.
- Implement and optimize data storage and retrieval mechanisms, leveraging cloud-based technologies and services.
- Ensure the security and compliance of our data systems, implementing appropriate access controls and data protection measures.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary optimizations.
- Implement and maintain data governance and data management practices, ensuring data integrity and alignment with industry standards.

Main requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 
At least 2 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong knowledge of data processing frameworks and technologies (such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or Hadoop).
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering (such as Python, Scala, or SQL).
Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools
Solid understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with machine learning frameworks and technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
