For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer

Proficiency in Java, Shell scripting, Linux, SQL, and Hadoop for developing and managing data-driven infrastructure solutions.

Practical knowledge of containerization and deployment tools including Docker and XL Deploy to support scalable application delivery.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and version control with Bitbucket.

In-depth knowledge of application runtime environments, including process management and memory optimization, to ensure system reliability and performance.

Familiarity with collaboration and project tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence to support cross-functional team coordination in a consulting context.

English language skills at least a B2 level.

Availability for a hybrid work model, 2 times a week in the Lisbon office (requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit).
