Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dutch Speaking Content Moderator to join a global customer experience leader in Lisbon, Portugal. Supporting a popular international e-commerce platform, you will ensure that listed products, services, and user-generated text/media meet strict quality, policy, and legal standards. This role requires sharp local market knowledge and a proactive mindset to maintain platform safety and compliance.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Review user-generated content and product listings to ensure absolute compliance with platform policies and local legal frameworks.
• Maintain exceptional levels of accuracy and attention to detail while working within targeted latency and quality metrics.
• Correctly escalate complex issues or sensitive content in accordance with internal corporate procedures.
• Stay continuously updated on content moderation guidelines, e-commerce regulations, and policy changes.
• Safeguard content safety across multiple media types, demonstrating adaptability during high-volume promotional season peaks.

Your Qualifications

• Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in Dutch alongside a good command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Industry Awareness: A strong foundational understanding or background in e-commerce platforms.
• Core Skills: Solid communication abilities and confident decision-making skills under structured guidelines.
• Resilience: Ability to view and handle sensitive digital content within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience (Asset): Prior experience in content moderation, online customer service, or data verification is considered an advantage.

Shifts & Working Hours

• Schedule: Full-time position with a 24/7 rotational shift pattern.
• Days Off: Includes two rotating days off per week.

Salary, Bonuses & Benefits

• Base Salary: €1,100 Gross x 14 months per year.
• Complexity Bonus: €100 per month (paid across 11 months of the year).
• Meal Allowance: €7.23 per working day.

• Health Insurance: Private health insurance coverage 

Relocation Support

• For Candidates Outside Portugal:
  • Sourcing and placement in a room within a company-managed apartment for 12 months at a fixed, subsidized cost of €280 per month (conveniently deducted from your salary).
  • Reimbursement of your inbound flight ticket up to €400 (paid out on the 6th month of employment).
• For Candidates Inside Portugal:
  • The accommodation option is strictly available only to applicants transitioning directly from a direct industry competitor.
