About the role 

Our Regional Log&Pack Procurement team, composed of 6 people, is integrated into the Procurement department and focuses on optimizing value and driving continuous improvement across the organization in collaboration with sites, business stakeholders, and suppliers. 

As an EMEA Regional Category Manager, you will work on designing and deploying regional logistics category strategies (and implementing global ones if applicable), managing supplier relationships and performance, and acting as a trusted advisor to the business on category-related matters to support the organization's strategic procurement goals. You will get the opportunity to contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process streamlining and have a positive impact on supplier partnerships and overall supply chain efficiency. You will be accountable for: 

• Developing and implementing regional logistics category strategies.


• Driving the negotiation, agreements, and contract creation with suppliers to create cost-saving opportunities through strong partnerships.


• Analyzing supplier spending and savings trends; investigating variances; and proposing, implementing, and monitoring cost savings initiatives.


• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, ethical standards, and company policies.


• Fostering growth in the use of e-tools.

About you 

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management. Relevant work experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement (6-8+ years), preferably in the chemical industry or a related sector.

About the pay 

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 40,000 - € 50,000 per year in Portugal.

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
