Engineering Manager - Digital Trust

The Engineering (Tech) Team is responsible for all Feedzai product development. Together with Product Management and Data Science, we build the next generation of tools to catch fraud in real-time with a machine learning first approach. Formed by engineers and managed by engineers, at Feedzai, you will find one of the most talented teams out there, from junior to senior engineers.

While building the best value for our customers, you will work with a wide range of technical challenges. Such as building distributed systems that need to operate 24/7 and ultra-low latencies, solving UI/UX problems to help fraud analysts to fight fraud more efficiently. In addition, designing extensive databases from relational, NoSQL and graphs, validate and develop new data science techniques and algorithms.

You:

As an Engineering Manager in the Digital Trust team, you will lead a team responsible for developing cutting-edge fraud detection and prevention capabilities, fighting systemic risks such as Account Take Over, Scams and many more. The Digital Trust team focuses on securing digital interactions by leveraging device intelligence, behavioral biometrics, cyber threat intelligence, and network analytics in order to ascertain legitimacy and security of any digital session, being it over web or mobile.

You will play a key role in ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our Digital Trust solutions, which help financial institutions detect anomalies, assess risk, and protect users from digital fraud. This role requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive a team towards innovation and execution.

You should be an engineer at heart who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while mentoring and developing top talent. Your ability to align technical execution with business goals will be crucial in shaping the future of Digital Trust at Feedzai.

Your Day to Day:

• Manage a team of engineers, supporting their career growth and day-to-day execution.


• Work closely with Product Management to transform requirements and ideas into working software


• Lead by example, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration.


• Provide technical leadership, guiding the team in architecture, design, and code reviews.


• Drive the planning, execution, and success of technical projects


• Collaborate with key stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Security teams.


• Champion best practices in DevOps, security, scalability, and performance for Digital Trust products.


• Work closely with recruiting to attract and hire top-tier engineering talent.

You Have & You Know-how:

• 3+ years of team leadership and/or management experience in technical teams.


• 6+ years of software development experience.


• Good knowledge of cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and modern software architecture.


• Experience working with high-scale distributed systems in a SaaS environment.


• Ability to balance technical innovation with business impact and drive results.


• Hands-on experience with network security, behavioral analytics, or device intelligence is a plus.


• Excellent English skills. Spanish is a plus (if not your mother tongue)

• Experience in security, fraud prevention, cyber threat intelligence, or related areas is a plus.
